AUL 1 Top of Table

Scorer Johnny Towler (seen celebrating with Alan O'Mahony, left, in picture) was the main man for Ballyphehane Celtic as they defeated leaders Ballincollig 1-0 in the top of the table AUL 1 clash at the Regional Park today. Ballincollig hit the post three times and must now wait to see how Celtic and UCC (3-1 winners over Douglas today) get on this week and in their direct meeting next Saturday. Two wins for either the Students or Celtic would mean the title but if they both win midweek and draw Saturday, then Ballincollig are back for a three way play-off.
