The Annual General Meeting of the Cork AUL will take place in Quality Shandon Court Hotel on Wednesday, 7 June 2006 commencing at 7. 30 p.m. Admission will be by ticket only as per the rules of the League.
The Annual General Meeting of the Munster Football Association will take place in Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, Dublin Road, Castletroy, Limerick on Saturday, 10 June 2006 commencing at 2.30 p.m. Admission is by ticket only and any club wishing to attend this meeting should write to Gerard Delaney, 12 Ballinure Cottages, Blackrock Cork for their admission ticket to the meeting. Each club is entitled to one ticket per team affiliated.
Football Association of Ireland Service to Football Awards.
Under a new initiative, in conjunction with The Irish Daily Star and Citywest Hotel, the Football Association of Ireland will recognise individuals within clubs who have made a contribution to Irish Football from grassroots to national level through the Service to Football Awards.
The Service to Football Awards will recognise and honour the significant and valued contributions of individuals at all levels of the game, who devote their volunteer time and effort to the fostering and development of the game of football in Ireland. Volunteers may be nominated for outstanding service or contribution to football at club, local league, provincial, national or international level.
Volunteers may be nominated for a consistent and continuous record of volunteer service to football and must be a volunteer during the past year. Nominations can be made on the official nomination form. Any club, club member, league, provincial association or individual may submit nominations.
The Service to Football Awards will be presented at the FAI AGM in Citywest Hotel in July.
Closing date for entries is Friday, 30 June 2006.
