VILLAGE v MAYFIELD
The Grey Derby!
The community of Mayfield, especially soccer fans, are looking forward to a lively game this Saturday night when the past players of Village and Mayfield play a match for Aware. Village chairman Kevin O’Sullivan: “This is a charity that deals with suicides and depression in families. We hope to raise money for this worthy charity. As people know, the club has had a hard few years with suicides and we hope this night might help prevent this happening to someone, not just in Mayfield, but anywhere in Ireland.”
Kevin will manage Village himself and Anthony Lotty will be in charge of the Mayfield lads. And they’ll all meet again at a post-match function in Mayfield GAA club
