U21 - Ireland v Germany Turner's Cross Feb 10th
Republic of Ireland Under-21 manager Don Givens will announce his squad to face Germany at Turner’s Cross at a press conference on Tuesday, January 27th.
The young Irish team takes on Germany at Turner’s Cross on February 10th in a match that will see them come up against one of the top Under-21 sides in Europe. With several German players playing regularly at top Bundesliga sides such as Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen, this is an opportunity for the Irish players to test themselves against some of Europe’s elite young players.
Having drawn against Portugal and defeated Lithuania in their last two outings, Givens will be hoping that his Irish side can build on recent results as they prepare for the Under-21 UEFA European Championship qualifiers, which will begin this summer.
After facing Germany at Turner’s Cross, the Republic of Ireland Under-21s will travel to Waterford to take on Spain on March 27th at the RSC.
