A CLUB IN CRISIS
Hibernian AFC, founded in 1996, is a club in crisis, and in danger of going out of football. This once great club which boasts excellent playing facilities at Shanbally, Ringaskiddy, is in desperate need of regeneration, according to secretary Brendan Hayes.
"The club is looking for people interested in promoting soccer at all levels, with ideas to help reverse the slide of the club, and the vision to utilize the club's facilities to their full potential. At present the club has two junior teams playing in the Cork AUL, and an under 14 school boy’s team. As this season draws to a close we urgently need to evaluate our options for the coming season, so if you are interested or need more information please contact LARRY HICKEY at 0872507941 or BRENDAN HAYES at 0871347954 OR 4379097."
