Waterford defeated Rockmount 2-1 in the Munster Senior Cup final at Turner's Cross last night. The visitors had the better of the first half and aided by defensive errors took a 2-0 half-time lead thanks to David Grincell and Gary Dunphy (pen.). Rockmount were much better in the second half but their only reward was a Ross O'Callaghan goal from a penalty.
