Youth’s Soccer By Tony Fitzgerald:
The Cork teams had mixed luck when the 4th round open draw of the FAI Umbro U17 Cup took place on Wednesday in the FAI Headquarters.
The winners of the Avondale Utd/College Corns tie have been favoured with a home draw against Dublin opposition as they will play the winners of the Carric Rovers/ Glebe North game.
The victors of the Carrigaline Utd/ Cork City game must travel to play the winners of the Finglas/Verona/ St Francis encounters while the winners of the Kilreen Cel/ Glounthaune Utd game must also travel as they have been drawn away to the winners of the Clonmel Cel/Villa/ South End/ Wexford pairings.
In the Youth cup the 4th round draw also took place and the winners of those ties qualify for the open rounds. The winners of the Midleton v Cork City game are at home to the winners of the Carrigaline Utd v Ballyvolane tie and Ballincollig or Passage will be at home to the winners of the Innishvilla v Park Utd game.
