UNDERDOGS WITH BITE
Strolled up to Lotamore today and saw underdogs UCC defeat Mayfield 2-1 in Intermediate Cup. The College team now play Avondale in round 4 and will be long odds underdogs again. UCC scored in each half to take a 2-0 lead. Mayfield got one back late on and had chances to equalise, new signing Howie Coakley (ex Village) twice going close in injury time. The students, who had a very good first half, also missed some late on.
