How to enter:
All teams need to fundraise for the ISPCC Childline service in Cork to take part in the blitz. Each team needs to raise €1,500, that’s €150 per team member.
There are a number of ways to do this. Each team member can take a sponsorship card to raise their share of the entry. That's just €10 from 15 people for each person!
Teams can also fundraise through their place of work, i.e dress down day, office Olympics, company sponsorship etc.
Teams can also hold a table quiz or any other fun event to help them to raise the €1,500.
Format:
There will be 16 teams at each tournament only, playing over a 4-hour period, 2-hour league going to a 2-stage knockout.
We will also have extra challenges on the day such as a Crossbar Challenge, penalty shoot out etc.
Why take part:
Childline is Ireland’s only multi-media listening service for children providing support, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Tough times are tough on children too and calls to Childline have soared in 2010.
Just €5 can help us answer one more call. Each team taking part and raising €1,500 has the potential to help us answer 300 more calls for some of Ireland’s most vulnerable children in need of support.
