Here’s a re-cap on some of Tuesday night’s fixtures.
Well now – things are starting to get very interesting indeed with more big games going on tomorrow night. Let’s take a quick peek at the action and what it means for some teams.
Premier: Kinsale are the only team unbeaten in this section but they are away to Coachford on Tuesday night and will do very well to come away with three points here. A potential banana skin for one of the favourites to take the title.
Knockavilla’s win last week against Blarney Street has put it up to Ballyvolane now and at Ballyvolane Park on Tuesday night, the homesters will have a tough nut to crack in Wilton who are now hitting form at the right time.
Blarney Street will be favourites to get back to winning ways at home to Grattan and Knockavilla should be full of confidence when they travel away to Macroom.
Premier A: Killumney now only need 8 points from 5 games to win the title and the process to commence that ambition could begin tomorrow night with a win away over Bohemians.
Villages’ fate was sealed last Sunday when they went down 0-3 away to Greenwood so there game at home against Leeds will be a bit meaningless.
AUL 3: After Cork Road Celtic’s defeat last week, has blown the race for the title wide open in this section as any one of four teams can become champions.
They are Cork Road Celtic, De Courcey Albion, Leeside C and St. John Boscos.
The biggest game in this section on Tuesday will be Leeside at home to Carrigtwohill and a win here for Leeside would give them a great chance of becoming champions.
Tune into this space tomorrow night and I will have all the results plus a fresh look at the tables as a result of the action.
Cheers,
Barry.
