OSCAR TRAYNOR UPDATE FROM MANAGER DONAL RIORDAN:
"We played Glenthorn Celtic last night in Douglas Hall and had a good run out. "Although we won the game pretty convincinly we felt it was a good excercise to give some game time to a few players who are coming back from injury. " The goals came from Arron Kearney,Steve Barry,Eamonn O'Sullivan,Gary O'Mahony,Mark Murphy,Robbie Walsh and John Corcoran.
"We are using these warm up games just to get lads used to playing together and I must admit the fitness levels were again fantastic.
"We will be naming a reduced squad of 20 over the weekend and we intend to play another game next week against an MSL team - the venue, time and opposition to be determined but, will be advertised on this space, " said Donal
Donal would like thank all the support for last Monday and Wednesday night games and he also wishes to thank Gavin O'Mahony (Manager of Mayfield United) and Donal Cronin (Manager of Glenthorn Celtic) for all their help.
