"An Evening with Nigel Owens"
at the Cork Arts Theatre

John Linehan, Vice Chairman & PRO Irish Soccer Referees Society Cork and Executive Committee Member Cork Arts Theatre, has announced an evening with top rugby ref Nigel Owens. John told us that Premiership referees David Elleray and Graham Poll previously visited the CAT and those evenings proved hugely successful. Looks like the Owens evening will be just as revealing.
"Nigel will talk about his life as one of the world's leading referees (an incredible story both on and off the field- from his Stand up Comedy gigs to Steroid Addiction to his Sexuality to Bulimia and his attempted Suicide) and then do Q&A in second half.
The CAT only holds 100 so it’s potentially a great gig.... Even more so now after his recent South Africa V New Zealand game which many experts claim was the GREATEST ever game of Rugby played worldwide and that the Man of Match award should have gone to Nigel Owens for his handling of such an epic encounter."
