FAI YOUTH DEVELOPMENT COURSE

2014 – 2015

3 CENTERS – CARRIGALINE, BLARNEY & MIDELTON

The programs are funded by the Cork Education Training Board (CETB) and are Local Training Initiatives (LTI’s). There are two Player Development programs in Carrigaline and Blarney along with one Coach Development Program in Midleton with the following qualifications available from the courses:

·        FETAC LEVEL 4 Sport and Recreation Studies and FAI Coach Education Courses  (Blarney)

·        FETAC LEVEL 5 Sports Recreation and Exercise; ITEC Gym Instructor and FAI Coach Education Courses. (Carrigaline, Midleton)

Progression Routes:

ü Professional Football at home and abroad.

ü Employment in the Sports and Leisure Industry.

ü Scholarships to Universities in Ireland, throughout Europe and the USA.

ü Further Education and Training and progressions to 3^rd level  education in UCC, CIT, and other  colleges and universities Nationally.
