AUL Committee Members May 92 Ref: R125 Left to right: Billy Murphy (RIP), John Bird, Vincent Cummins (RIP) The league is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and to mark the occasion a Gala Dinner Dance will be held in the Metropole Hotel on May 27th Further details below CORK AUL 75TH ANNIVERSARY: The Cork A.U.L. will this year be celebrating a very special occasion, the 75th anniversary of the League’s foundation in 1947. A Gala Dinner Dance will take place at the Metropole Hotel, Cork on Friday May 27 with pre-meal drinks reception, four course meal, live music followed by disco and a free raffle on the night for various prizes. The league will be giving one club from each section two complimentary tickets. The draw for these will take place shortly and the winning clubs notified accordingly.
