Douglas Hall defeat Rockmount in Munster Youth Cup

Douglas Hall pulled off a major coup to advance in the Munster Youth Cup with a 3-1 win over Rockmount. With David Boyle, John Mehigan and Ian Murnaghan leading the way, the Hall benefitted from a blazing start.
Kieran Desmond broke through in the 7th minute to open for the Hall. Eight minutes later, Ian Doyle made it 2-0 from a John Carroll cross. In the 20th minute, Rockmount got one back when John Hurley converted a penalty after a foul on Conor Twomey.
Just before the interval, a spectacular volley from the edge of the box restored the Hall's two goal advantage. Rockmount piled on the pressure in the second half but to no avail.
