Corinthians Cup final: Passage 1 Temple United 3

Temple Utd, on the rack in the first half, came good in the second to defeat Passage. Missed first half chances, along with a few excellents saves by Temple keeper Joe Barrett, cost underdogs Passage.

Just 90 seconds after the break, Bob O'Donovan's superb 22-yard free kick put Temple ahead. Passage bounced back on the hour, with Brian Hennessy finishing off a terrific passing move.

Temple finished strongly and retook the lead in the 77th minute when Kevin Kearney headed in off a corner. In the closing minutes, Kearney netted again, again from a ball by Ger Manning.
